I graduated from Duke University with a degree in Public Policy in 2000 and earned my J.D. at Lewis and Clark College in Portland, Oregon, graduating with honors and having won a national moot court competition in environmental law.  After returning home to California, I began working in a small general civil litigation firm, and found my passion litigating labor and employment matters.  I have spent the last twelve years working for both employees and employers on cases involving discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, whistleblower actions, wage and hour and other civil torts. In 2017, my partner, Renee Noy, and I formed WorkWise Law PC, a firm dedicated to helping small to mid-market companies be compliant with California state and federal employment laws.  We want to keep companies out of litigation, through educating, counseling and assisting them in resolving employment conflicts.  We draft employee handbooks, perform HR audits (to see where companies have vulnerability in their practice), perform workplace investigations, trainings, facilitate the disability process, mediate employer-employee conflicts and litigation. On a personal note, I am married with two beautiful children and enjoy music, travel and all things Italian.
