Lisa Aminnia was destined to be an estate planning attorney –she was given the Hebrew name of Deborah, who was the only female judge in the Bible, and her last name “Aminnia” literally translates to “trustworthy ancestors” in Farsi.
Lisa was born and raised in the West Valley, and was Vice President of her Senior Class at Taft High School, graduating 3rd in her class. A National Merit Scholar, she went to UCLA, where she was in the College Honors Program, a member of Alpha Epsilon Phi sorority, and majored in Business Economics with a Minor in Accounting.
She attended Pepperdine for law school, where she was President of the Jewish Law Students Association. Graduating in 2007, she began working for a small estate planning firm, and eventually started her own practice in 2010.
She is a native Farsi speaker, and is also a Notary Public. Lisa has had clients throughout Southern California and is happy to travel to people's homes or offices for free consultations, reviews of past estate planning documents, and in-home seminars to teach people about the Probate process, the benefits of living trusts, and why it is beneficial to plan in advance.
Lisa is a past member of the JNET Board of Directors and has been serving as President of the Woodland Hills chapter since 2016.
